Description
ICS 100 (IMS 100) This course is an Introduction to the Incident Command System, it introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) and provides the foundation for other levels of ICS training. This course covers the history, features, principles, facilities used and organisational structure of the Incident Command System.
Objectives
This course is aimed to introduce ICS to people who maybe be involved in their organisations emergency and incident response teams. In doing so the course will cover:
- The Purpose & History of ICS
- Key Features & Principles of ICS
- The Key Command roles and Functions
- The General Staff roles and functions
- The incident Facilities that may be used.
